River Findhorn: Dunearn Burn and Randolph's Leap

Two walks are available here, this one and a shortened version (1.5m). The short one misses many of the views down into the gorge... It's suitable as a family walk, although for much of it the path teeters on the edge of the cliffs; so take care of young children (and dogs), particularly if the path is wet and slippery, between Waymarks 4 and 8. The path is good, although muddy in wet weather and boots are recommended for the longer walk.

24/08/08 - Thomas Kee : Hi completed this walk yesterday, 230808. Board now missing from the carpark and a few of the marker posts seem to be missing too. One or two places on path are eroding at cliff edge and need great care in wet/slippy conditions. A lovely walk. Hope this helpful. T.Kee & M.Kee

24/08/08 - Thomas Kee : 23/08/08 Randolph's leap part of the walk; car can be parked in Logie steading(toilets/shops/food etc. Nice little walk along River Findhorn. Via road bridge and Randolph's leap. There and back approx 3 miles. Good paths. T & M Kee
