Straiton - Lambdoughty Glen - Straiton
|
Walk
ID: 902 |
The village of Straiton is a very picturesque village of one road bounded by cottages with roses round the doors.
The first part of the walk is past newer cottages, which still follow the design of the others, then a short distance on the road.
Next enter the Lambdoughty Glen on a path called Lady Hunter Blair's Walk to the Rosetti Linn waterfall. The final stretch is a woodland scramble up and down the side of a burn with waterfall views. The return route can be varied to enter the village before returning to the car.
