Beinn Eighe Nature Trail
|
Walk
ID: 806 |
Whereas the Mountain Trail takes three-and-a-half to four hours, the Woodland Trail allows you to stretch your legs for an hour. It's steep in places, but the paths are good; stout shoes or boots are advised, particularly in wet weather, when the paths can be torrents. There are numerous viewpoints and with a Scottish Natural Heritage guide leaflet, the walk gives an insight into this remnant of the ancient Caledonian Forest. It's a very photogenic walk.
