The early part of the walk is on broad tracks leading from Dell Lodge to Forest Lodge. The paths are still wide and smooth to Rynettin Lodge; from there to Ryvoan Bothy and Glenmore Lodge they are less well-surfaced, but still good. Boots are advised, particularly for this last section. This is one of the most enjoyable walks in the area, but needing two cars or a pick-up time.
