Drummossie Muir: General Wade's Military Road

The walk starts at an entry to Mealmore Forest, ten miles south of Inverness on the A9. It begins in forest, crosses farmland in the valley of the River Nairn, then climbs to open moorland towards the end at Daviot Information Centre, also on the A9. There are beautiful views to the mountains to the north and west.
