This walk starts in the pretty village of Carcès and takes a delightful quiet little path alongside a water channel contouring around the hill above the village to the Chapelle Notre Dame. You then head off into the country before picking up the channel again that will lead you to the falls of Caramy. From here you head up to the lake, following the western shore before climbing over the hills back to Carcès. The walk is mainly through woods, so it makes a very pleasant half-day walk with plenty of interest and places to picnic.
