From the car park of Haughmond Abbey, this walk takes a route through lovely Shropshire countryside to visit Ebury Hill, an Iron Age fort. The historical interest of this walk combines with fine English landscape for added appeal and makes an ideal family outing. Haughmond Abbey is a large, 12th Century Augustinian ruin managed by English Heritage, with an exhibition explaining its history.
