This circular walk, to the south of Wolsingham, climbs up to reach the top of the fells, providing views back down towards Wolsingham. In the distance both Frosterley and Stanhope can be seen on a clear day. The walk then follows the top of the fells to provide a wonderful view up the valley and down to Frosterley. This view is very close to that on the front of the Landranger map of the area. Finishing off, the walk follows the banks of the Wear for a more relaxing walk to end.

A lovely walk with very clear descriptions and all the promised great views on the outward leg. A word for the excellent Black Bull Inn, right by the rail station in Frosterley - a bit of a detour but well worth it. http://blackbullfrosterley.com
