Lossiemouth to Kingston
|
Walk
ID: 3180 |
There are several options on this walk and a choice can be made at several points. You can follow the shore all the way, follow the route described here or follow it but omit Binn Hill (doing the last you walk directly from Waymarks 13 to 18). There is lots to see: views, the maze of old dunes fixed by the planting of pines, the parallel shingle ridges, World War 2 tank traps and gun emplacements, a fossil sea cliff at Binn Hill, abundance of birdlife along the shingle beach and a great variety of alpine plants near Kingston.
