The track up to the windfarm is varied and interesting; sometimes a forest track can be straight and boring, but this isn't. There are nice views en route and deer and buzzards may be seen. How you view the wind farm depends on a lot of things, but there is no denying the beauty of an individual windmill when you are near it.
A notice warns us of the danger of ice falling from the blades in winter.
For a day's walking in this area, join this walk to Walk 2619 and you will enjoy a visit to the nearby Pluscarden Abbey (NJ 142576)
