Ordesa Gorge Short Walk - Estrecho Falls Circuit
|
Walk
ID: 3130 |
The Ordesa National Park is one of the most breathtaking areas in the Spanish Pyrenees. A World Heritage site, the park is filled with soaring 3,000m mountains and deep gorges filled with cascading streams and major waterfalls. This walk can be done by anyone at any time of the year and gives a good introduction to the fabulous scenery of the area. Starting from the main car park, the route climbs easily to the first two waterfalls (Arripas and Estrecho) along the gorge, before crossing the river and returning on the south side of the gorge to the car park. The walk is on good footpaths throughout, so you can even take the pushchair.
