This is the continuation of Stage 2, the first part being described in Walk 3119 GR11 Stage 2a - Vera de Bidasoa to Collado de Lizarreta. Walks 3119 and 3120 can be done together but this involves a very long day's walking, that to my mind spoils the enjoyment of countryside. This stage goes from the small border crossing of Collado de Lizarreta south-west across fern-covered hills to Collado de Esquisaroy, before climbing steeply and turning south over La Ronda and Collado Inaberri and dropping to the Bagordi picnic area above Elizondo. The final part of the walk from Bagordi involves a long descent to Elizondo on the road, but this can be shortened and made more enjoyable by taking any or all of the numerous short cuts across and around the hairpins.
