This is the start of the Pyrenees Atlantic to Mediterranean coast-to-coast walk GR11. Stage 1 Cabo Higuer to Vera de Bidasoa is normally shown as a single 31km day walk. However it is nice to do the first part from the lighthouse to the other side of Irún as an evening stroll, perhaps having dinner in one of the many promenade restaurants in Fuenterrabía; a great start to one of Europe's greatest walks.
