This walk starts from the car park at Alva Glen. Alva is a small town along the foot of the southern Ochils. The walk follows the path up the eastern section of Alva Glen, passing numerous waterfalls and crossing the Alva Burn on a number of occasions. A steep climb up the the initial ascent of the sides of Craig Leith give excellent views of the glen and the valley beyond. Returning around the side of Craig Leith, views can be seen as far as Stirling, the Wallace Monument and Falkirk and beyond. The more alert may also view a number of birds of prey at this point, prior to the descent through the golf course and back to the car park.
