A circular walk around the dales and hills near Lealholm, commencing with a picturesque stroll along the banks of the Esk. To complete the circuit, the walk takes you up onto the hillside, providing some spectacular views of the dales.

Please note that although this walk is graded as "Easy" there is one part where navigation can be tricky. You may find a compass (or GPS) will help you to follow the map.

Completed this walk on 12th May 2021. Spectacular views. Well worth the effort.

Excellent walk, highlights are the walk by the River Esk and the views of Eskdale. Just one point; Direction no.8... it is very easy to lose your bearings as I did as there are no landmarks to guide you.
