Abergorlech - Brechfa Forest - Abergorlech
|
Walk
ID: 2727 |
There are many trails in the Brechfa Forest and there are leaflets available at some tourist information centres. This walk follows the Gorlech up a valley before climbing up to higher ground and dropping back down to the village. While in the car park look out for the red oaks near the stream. They have unusual (for oak trees) bark. It is smooth like beech and the leaves, which are quite large, become red in the autumn.
