Torrieston Walk (2)

Walk ID: 2620

The walk begins at the same car park as the other Torrieston Walks, where there are toilets, picnic tables and a children`s play area. It's a quiet woodland walk, mostly through Scots Pines, and there are seats and table en route. The path crosses a burn twice by rustic bridges, where there are paddling pools for children and dogs.
Either before or after the walk you might like to visit the nearby Pluscarden Abbey. It's 3 miles west of the Torrieston carpark at GR NJ 142576 and is signposted. Dating from 1230 it has been refurbished and is again a functioning abbey and open to the public.
