Walk
ID: 2568 |
After leaving the car park the walk enters mature Scots Pine woodland past the Punch Bowl (a rock pool carved out by the action of the river). It then rises slightly but continues close by the waterside with a wonderful backdrop of mountains in the distance. Eventually it leaves the lower ground and rises across some heather moorland, leading to two little lochans. After passing over a col by the water`s edge the path continues over more grassy land before making its descent towards the Lui Water providing more wonderful views on the way. The route then rises slightly once more, before descending to a tarred road which leads back to the car park.
