Daviot Circular Walk
|
Walk
ID: 2234 |
The walk follows parts of shorter, signposted walks to make a varied two-hour walk. There is a variety of paths, environment and views of Strath Nairn. The novelist Alistair Maclean lived here in Daviot when his father was the parish minister; a commemorative service, attended by celebrities from the film world, was held in the tiny church (Waymark 12) after his death in 1987.
