Nethy Bridge - Grantown (Speyside Way)
|
Walk
ID: 2088 |
It doesn't sound very attractive... walking along a dismantled railway. But you will be pleasantly surprised; no sign of a railway, only a good surfaced path through open birch-wood and farmland - and it's level! Fences on both sides of the track make it safe for dogs; and information notices tell of the wildlife in the district. In the latter part of the walk the path goes alongside the River Spey; nice views and the chance of seeing salmon moving.
