The walk is partly on a narrow path, partly on a broad track and partly along a disused railway track. The last might not seem very inviting but it is in fact very interesting, well vegetated and going through steep-walled cuttings. The views at the viewpoints (and elsewhere) are splendid. A good family walk (seats provided at strategic points for grandad...) but in wet weather you would be better in boots.
