This attractive moorland walk, along part of the Southern Upland Way, affords distant views of the hills of Galloway before returning to St John's Town of Dalry along the banks of the Water of Ken.
St John's Town of Dalry, or plain Dalry, is idyllically located in the area formed by four rural parishes and together known as The Glenkens.
