The Glenkiln Sculptures
|
Walk
ID: 1764 |
This is a walk with a difference around a 'sculpture park' set in a quiet, attractive glen. Pieces of modern sculpture by Auguste Rodin, Henry Moore and Sir Joseph Epstein, collected since 1951 by the local landowner Sir William Keswick and placed in a completely natural environment, provide interesting stimuli to this gentle walk, partly alongside the Glenkiln Reservoir and with lovely views throughout.
Please note that there are no refreshments available on this walk.
