Castle Roy Circular, Abernethy
|
Walk
ID: 1380 |
A pleasant hour's walk (one of several) on the outskirts of Nethy Bridge. The castle (rems of) is an unusual one; and the rest of the walk offers variety of scenery and wildlife. Good views to the Cairngorms. Paths are good but boots or stout shoes best. It's a good family walk (it is requested that dogs are kept on lead).
You can lengthen this walk by combining it with Walk 1381, joining it by turning left at waymark 06 (signposted VILLAGE).
