Kinnoull Hill from Jubilee Car Park
|
Walk
ID: 1363 |
A short but very pleasant and popular walk from a well-made car park. On good paths throughout, it passes through beech, birch, pine and oak-woods which are home to red squirrel and roe deer.
The walk rises to the edge of 200 metre-high cliffs with a folly based on the castles of the Rhine Valley. It provides superb views down the Tay Valley and across to the Ochil Hills and Lomond Hills in Fife.
From the summit there are views across the Valley of Strathmore to the Grampian Mountains.
