Dunbeath Strath
|
Walk
ID: 1092 |
Unlike many parts of inland Caithness which are open moorland, Dunbeath Strath is sheltered and wooded. This walk takes you up the very picturesque strath before climbing out onto the north side and returning from the edge of the moor. The route partly follows the Dunbeath Heritage Trail but misses out the wilder part further up the valley.
