24/12/06 - Stephen Harris : A very pleasant walk even on a cold Christmas eve. Much variety, good things to see and good underfoot conditions make for a truly rewarding trek, only downside is the short section of dangerous road walking, but other than this, excellent. 8/10.

09/01/06 - Norman Lavender : 9 Jan 06. A very pleasant walk even on a dull January morning. I will certainly walk this again on a sunnier day. WP18 Rather than walk along the road there is a path through the woods if you turn left as soon as you reach the car park.
