29/07/07 - Kathryn Davidson : We enjoyed this walk - views were lovely. Update: The car park now costs £4 per day and entry to Jacob's Ladder is also £4 per head. We found that the pub in Rowberrow was open and serving meals all day Sat and Sun.

04/09/09 - Dave and Sam Asbury : Walked 23/5/09. Started at the carpark NE of wp10 (free). Really enjoyed the walk - except the walk up the gorge (due to close proximity of the cars) If we were to do this walk again - which we probably will at some time - I'd plot to walk on the path seen running roughly parallel with the gorge and south of it. I think this runs along the cliffs. Overall a fine walk.

04/09/08 - ROGER WOODS : Fantastic walk with all you would expect on the mendips, parked in town a half hour walk away so we had a good warm up before climbing jacobs ladder which is a testing start to any walk !
