Minions - Caradon Hill - Cheesewring - Hurlers (Walk ID: 2291)
Minions Village and surrounding area is very popular with locals and visitors to Bodmin Moor. It has the cachet of being the highest village in Cornwall. This is a relatively easy walk with just one ascent of any note, up to the Cheesewring, a local beauty spot. The route also takes you by and through old copper mine workings, since the area was the home of the largest copper mine in the UK, well over 100 years ago. The walk ends with a visit to a unique Bronze Age triple stone circle known as the Hurlers.
