The Clwydian Way (6): Corwen - Pentre (Walk ID: 1640)
This continuation of the Clwydian Way is in relatively unwalked areas through pine plantations and pastures and is extremely peaceful. The landscape is very attractive, with beautiful woodland and streams.

Glyndyfrdwy - Moel Fferna Quarry - Glyndyfrdwy (Walk ID: 5426)
Climb out of the fertile Dee Valley to the open moors of the Berwyn Ridge, with great views to the Clwydian Hills. Wildlife includes peregrine falcons and black grouse, while an old railway and abandoned quarry provide industrial archaeology interest. Lots of bilberries in season!

Llandrillo and the Berwyns from the West (Walk ID: 1409)
LLandrillo gives easy access to the Berwyns from the west - old tracks and bridleways crossing the range lead to a take-off point onto the more demanding open ground.

Llantilio Picnic Site - Horseshoe Falls - Llangollen Canal - Valle Crucis Abbey - Velvet Hill - Llantilio Picnic Site (Walk ID: 1646)
This is another short walk suitable for anyone less than physically fit. There are no steep climbs. The walk visits Valle Crucis Abbey and Horseshoe Falls and there is a good chance of seeing steam trains while walking the canal.

Llanarmon Dyffryn Ceiriog - Ceiriog Trail - Llanarmon Dyffryn Ceiriog (Walk ID: 2595)
This short walk shows a little of the Berwyn Mountains. The walk is easy but provides wonderful views. The area is rich in wildlife, I had lovely views of a stoat.

Tyn-y-ffridd - Mynydd Tarw - Cadair Berwyn (Walk ID: 695)
A strenuous walk taking in nine tops in the Berwyn Range (with the option of taking in ten - Moel Sych, which has the best views in Wales). Navigation is made easy as you mainly follow fences.
